The Alaska Fly Fishing Boot Camp is for folks/ groups who want to learn how to fly fish and consider themselves a beginner or novice at best in the art of fly fishing. We teach you techniques that you will need to know to fly fishing anywhere in the world! You will learn about your equipment and what you need to know to fly fish with confidence no matter where you end up fly fishing. Become a master at tying knots, knowing which flies to use for trout, salmon, bass and salt water species. Learn how to cast like a pro with professional instruction right at your side.
Then, fly fish some of those most pristine waters of Alaska imaginable! Catch Wild Alaskan salmon and trout using strategies and techniques you have learned. You will hunt for and catch trout casting the correct fly to the exact spot to entice a strike on your own before the boot camp is over. Learn how to handle your fish after they are caught and to safely release your fish without harm back into their stream.
Stay in our lovely Pinewood Inn Lodge as part of your package price, enjoy the comforts of a true Alaskan Lodge with all amenities for your comfort and relaxation as you experience a truly remarkable adventure of a lifetime in the Last Frontier of Wild Alaska.
Included in your cost are the Boot Camp instruction classes and half day on a stream or river for instruction your first day, one full day fly in fly fishing for Grayling on your second day, one full day drift boat trip on the Upper Kenai on your third day and a full day hike in trip on a secluded stream near our lodge on your fourth day. Daily instruction included, all guide fees, fly rods and reels and all equipment, float plane charter fee, 5 nights lodging beginning the night before your first day with breakfast, lunch and snacks each day.
Total price for Boot Camp is $2500.00, 2 person minimum and discounts depending on the number of people in your group.
